Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, and password (hashed). If you sign in with a third-party provider (Google, Apple), we receive your name, email, and profile photo from that provider.
User Content: Posts, comments, and votes you create on the Service.
Usage Data: We automatically collect page views, session duration, device type, screen size, referral source, and approximate location (country/region) for analytics. This data is associated with a randomly generated visitor ID, not your account.
Cookies: We use essential cookies for authentication session management (Supabase auth tokens). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

When you submit a post or comment, the text content is sent to an AI service (Claude by Anthropic) for content moderation review. The AI evaluates whether the content complies with our Community Guidelines. Moderation decisions (approve, flag, reject) are logged for audit purposes. The AI does not have access to your account information beyond the content being reviewed.
We retain your account data and content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Anonymous analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal data, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and row-level security policies on our database. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
